The Best Boat, Kayaks, and Canoes Storage Units from Talic

Getting out is simpler than you think; just pack your boat on a trailer and tow it to a nearby river. But what happens in winter when the leafy vegetation is gone and the river has frozen out? Do you leave your kayaks, canoes, or boats at the mercy of freezing temperature? You need not only an attractive but also a space-saving storage unit to keep your boats safe in winter. This is where the two-decade-old company, Talic, comes in.

Talic came into existence from a simple home DIY that led to the creation of kayak storage racks. This was back in 1999 when the company’s founder Tim Tucker could not find a storage unit for his three kayaks in any shop or online. To cut a long story short, Tucker’s homemade stands earned him a flourishing company that is serving thousands of water fun enthusiasts today.

Talic Kayak Tilt XL

Talic Kayak Tilt XL is a simple wooden storage unit made from Baltic Birch, southern yellow pine, and strong stainless steel hardware. During its designing, manufacturers copied some of its predecessor Classic System’s features, including the usage of a 2 inch wide soft, but tough webbing wrap. The wrap suspends your boat above the tough hardware to prevent dents and scratches from forming.

The unit is suitable for not-so-big boats whose height at the gunwale is less than 14’’. When the unit is in use, it measures 17 inches tall and 18 inches deep. So, to maximize the space of your garage, set the unit high on the wall. In contrast, you can fold Talic Kayak Tilt to form a small. However, do not set up Tilt XL outdoors as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Talic Canoe Roost

Talic Canoe Roost packs impressive features that will always keep your boat safe and suspended. Thanks to the soft and thick premium 2’’ wide nylon webbing wrap. When you deploy the wrap, your boat will be suspended hence avoiding denting caused by hard surfaces.

You can mount the arms on any interior walls, provided that the walls are sturdy enough to hold a 100-pound boat. After mounting, you can extend the arm 38 inches wide arms to accommodate a not more than 40 inches wide kayak. If you are not using the racks, fold them to neaten your garage. This will also save on space since after folding, the arms pop out only 5 inches. The rack was crafted from stunning yellow pine and ash woods and should not be used outdoors.

Woodlands Starter Kit

Woodlands Starter kit 2 can carry two narrowboats or five paddles. It has two 60’’ rails to hold the kit in place. The rails are usually attached to studs on the wall. As a plus bonus, the manufacturer included an accessory bracket for holding clothes or fishing accessories.

I believe Talic is one shop stop for all your water vessel storage needs. Visit the company online or talk to one of their customer care personnel for premium services. You may also order these units on Amazon.
