Benefits of Laughter Yoga

The organizer and promoter of “World Laughter Day” was Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the international movement of Laughter Yoga. As its name suggests, Laughter Yoga is a therapy, practiced in groups, which consists of laughing collectively in order to enjoy the benefits of it. Among other benefits, laughter reduces stress, promotes the production of endorphins, increases self-esteem and helps cure depression.
